Hi Folks, Sorry for the time away. Have been experiencing computer issues. Fishing is a lot easier than dealing with computers. Anywho, i have been fishing the Willoughby river for steelhead with mixed results. After the rain last weekend there was a push of fish. Mostly suckers however. I did land a beautiful 4lb silver female on Tuesday when the water was slightly up and off color, but otherwise the pickings have been slim. I like to fish a mono rig on a wonder rod fly rod with yellow and orange sponge. Very effective and efficient. I was on the Willoughby today and the water was low and clear and the temperature was 39 degrees in the morning and crept up to 44 by late day. Tons of suckers around but I only saw one small rainbow caught and one other lost. If there is to be a run this year then it has to happen during the next warm spell with rain. I will be fishing pike the next few days and give the Willoughby a break. Have Fun and Good Luck! Willy
